Willows HOA Board of Directors UPDATED COVID19 NOTICE
October 16, 2020
Last week, the State’s Blueprint for a Safer Economy moved Alameda County from the most restrictive Purple Tier to the Red Tier, which means there is a substantial risk of spreading COVID-19. The State places counties into tiers based on the daily case rate per 100,000 and the test positivity rate. This week, Alameda County was placed in the Red Tier for the second week in a row, with 4.1 cases per day per 100,000 people and a 2.3% test positivity rate.
On Friday, September 25, Alameda County announced that nail salons could now reopen following strict guidelines. This week, the County has not yet published changes to their reopening plans. View a list of what is allowed to open and what isn’t here. When there are two health orders, the stricter order applies. For example, the State’s health order allows playgrounds to reopen in the Red Tier. However, Alameda County does not allow playgrounds to open at this time. That means that here in the City of Alameda, playgrounds remain closed. Alameda County announced it will not allow any changes or reopening’s regardless of color for the next two weeks.
Based on the update above and health order 20-14c and subsequent minor additions not advertised, https://covid-19.acgov.org/covid19-assets/docs/shelter-in-place/20-14c-social-distancing-eng.pdf
The board has drafted a reopening and site-specific safety plan along with necessary supplies for Alameda County Health Order 20-14a, 20-14b, and 20-14c. We will continue to make necessary adjustments and hope to open more amenities when and if the county moves forward into the next phase. With each update we will modify our plan.
